Islands of Wakfu is an adventure game (mixed with beat’em up and shoot’em up mechanics) slightly reminiscent to The Legend of Zelda, where you’ll fight your way through various beautiful environments while collecting stuff, getting gradually stronger and solving puzzles.

Believe it or not, but Wakfu is an upcoming turn-based MMORPG. Exactly what that means is still uncertain. Luckily, Chelsey Matrix has taken it upon herself to interview producer Franko Fonseca to determine exactly 'what is Wakfu'.
Islands of wakfu is an Xbox Live acrade spinoff game to the MMORPG Wakfu and Dofus, developed and published by Ankama Play, so it already has it's fan base that will probably be buying this prequel to those games they love. The story in Islands Of Wakfu is set 10,000 years before "DOFUS" (a MMORPG set in the same universe), its the end of the world and the last Eliathrope sets off with her brother (A dragon) to find the mythical islands of Wakfu to survive the threat looming over the world and to try and preserve the remains of their civilisation.
