GB: "Shadow of the Colossus was one of the best games for the PlayStation 2. I don't know why, but it was underrated by many publications back then. For me Shadow of the Colossus was one of those games that redefined the PlayStation 2 experience in 2005. Fast forward six years , 2011, The Last Guardian is set to do the same.
So how do the two games stack up with each other? Please do note that this comparison is not aimed at a graphical level, but is for comparing the visual style and art direction.

GB: "With this feature, we run down 15 of the most underrated games on the PS4 that never received the love and appreciation they truly deserve."
I've played 15, and I wouldn't consider any of those underrated TBH. Some of them are pretty high rated.
I. Not seeing anything on that list underrated. I never played concrete genie, the ASTRO vr,and one other but I forgot the name already. Nothing on there was underrated at all imo.
There’s only 4 of those games I never played, and no most of those aren’t underrated.
Friendship is hard to depict accurately, but The Last Guardian does a good job of showing all its ups and downs through Trico and the boy.
I enjoyed the game but it started out too simple and easy. If the entire game was as intense and challenging as the last 20% it would have been a 10/10 experience.
I managed to grab the collectors edition for £40 about a year after it released. Was an enjoyable game, but I had just finished Shadow of the colossus, and whilst I enjoyed it, it was not as good when compared.
To better understand why The Last Guardian's Trico clicked with some gamers and annoyed others, this article will explore the story behind the beast to see what makes it tick. Although a somewhat polarizing figure, Trico is a unique element of The Last Guardian that is equal parts captivating and mysterious. While some appreciate the beast's realism and unpredictability, other found the strange creature to be a tad too frustrating.
DAMN! The Last Guardian looks bloody awesome, sotc doesn't stand a chance :p
Damn i cant wait for the shadow of colossus Collection its everyones must wanted collection and having it with HD graphics trophie support and much more makes it one of the Greatest collection ( Next to GOD OF WAR of course)
To all those who think "the creature gonna die ;( "
Fumito Ueda said that TLG IS NOT A SAD GAME, plus that's why they've mad this trailer with a joyfull music. He his fully aware that everyone belive that Torico gonna die, He wishes to inform the players that the end of the game is amazing.
So I dunno what will happen, but Torico probably not going to die, that would be too easy and desapointing.
...
This comparison reminded me of just how incredible the colossi looked, especially for back in the PS2 era (when upscaled into 720p).
In technical graphics, for obvious reasons, TLG looks better. As for artistic design... I would give it to SoTC right now, but that's not really fair: all we've seen of TLG is two characters, some enemies and a couple of environments.
Having said that, some of the colossi even at the beginning of SoTC looked incredible.
They're too different to compare.
