Rage vs Crysis 2: HD Comparison of Models and Environments (and more)

GB: "Rage and Crysis 2 are undoubtedly one of the best looking games out there. With Crysis 2 already released, we got a chance to take some HQ screenshots of the game and compare them with Rage.

The results are pretty close. But there is a lot of time remaining before Rage gets released, so I am pretty sure that the final version may beat out Crysis 2.

Cysis 2 looks better? I don't think so, especially since the build is probably in Alpha or beta form. The final build for Rage will look a lot more smoother and better than Crysis 2

RAGE has a beautiful renderer that is for sure, but to be honest the visuals are far more stylized than Crysis 2's.

Very different styles and both will be technical achievements of the highest order. Dont really care to say which is "better" as its all subjective anyway.

I imagine both will be the front runners for best visuals 2011.

I think Battlefield 3, Rage, Crysis 2, and actually Brink will be the best looking FPS games this year. I doubt Crysis 2 will come out on top in it's current state. Though rumors say Crytek have a special mod in preparation for the PC version.

ID is back is time to show them how is done !!!yeah not crysis2 or killzone 3 will touch this game TRUST ME I saw this game runing on a high-end pc and I went crazy I just cant wait!!!I never get to see nothing early because i am nobody in the industry but for my luck I got to see this one and belive me I got killzone 3 and crysis 2 and i never saw someting like this ,the fight is gonna be on console rage ,uncharted 3,and on pc skyrim ,witcher2,battlefield 3 ,rage
