VVVVVV is a highly enjoyable 2D puzzle-platformer that features challenging gameplay and a nice little story to move the game forward. The whole thing is especially old-school in its design, yet it feels incredibly modern. Check out Bright Hub's VVVVVV review for a full look at the game.

To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of retro indie platformer VVVVV, developer Terry Cavanagh has released the game’s original source code to the public.

Minimal design, maximal fun. VVVVVV was originally released as a Flash game in 2010, and since then it’s been ported to everything under the sun. I remember playing and loving the 3DS release years back. And I’m happy to report that the game is as good as ever on the Switch. In fact, this might be the best version yet.
One of my favorite indie games of all time, and easily one of the best platformers I've played in recent memory.
