A few years ago a PC game called Altitude perfected the 2D online flight combat genre. Mini Squadron on the Playstation Mini service is the single player equivalent to this game and the better experience. Every stage in the game is set up in the same manner but has different enemy types that fight drastically differently. The battlefield becomes a chaotic yet fluid scene when powerups are added to the mix that both players and AI can use.
This week’s ‘Deal of the Week’ promotional title for Windows Phone 7 is the cartoon styled flight combat videogame, MiniSquadron. Developed by Supermono Studios and published by Microsoft Studios, MiniSquadron features more than sixty unique aircraft and plenty of enemies to take out of the skies.
Deals are always good for the broke gamers...looks like I'm not too far away from being the broke gamer lol
PushSquare: "MiniSquadron is an enjoyable dog-fighter with a moreish unlock system that’s marred by one of the worst soundtracks we’ve ever encountered in a Mini."
