Raccoon City's environments look dark and grungy. There's definitely a SOCOM-ish feeling to some of the gameplay moments, which could be interesting in a Resident Evil title. Excluding Resident Evil 5, players are normally forced to go it alone in the series, and when the ammo and herbs run out you can pretty much get screwed without adequate knife skills. Now we could potentially play with up to 3 other rifle-wielding, herb-carrying friends, which is a nice change.

Eternal Darkness was way ahead of its time especially for a Nintendo exclusive.
I would love to see a remake or sequel (multiplatform)
4 people love Eternal Darkness.
Quick! Jump on that remake, whoever holds the rights these days.
GameFlavor's Resident Evil First Aid Drink is making a comeback, offering high quality Resident Evil merch.
Games like Lethal Company end up scary because of their freeform nature, while Resident Evil's polish and storytelling ultimately make them rather tame in comparison. Agree or disagree?
I don't want SOCOM in my Resident Evil.
Let's hope they keep this wholly Biohazard!
I saw no Socom influence in that trailer at all.
Looks more like Left 4 Dead!
The only reason this is Resident Evil is because Kennedy shows up at the end. I wish they'd stick with a formula, and expand on it. I miss the old RE's... that's for sure.
Hey guys...listen. Lets give this game a chance. I believe Capcom has 1 more chance to redeem themselves before we bash them. well I'm talking about RE6 btw.
but this game has Leon in it so it should kick ass right?
