Heres an audio log where I talk about my impressions of these three games and as always I supply some music to keep you entertained.
Backward compatibility works for many games on newer consoles, but titles such as The Simpsons: Hit and Run have been left out.
From base building to swinging willies, here are the best survival games around, which include a couple of less than obvious picks.
It turns out that many moons ago, Microsoft once had its eye on the Sony published LittleBigPlanet series.
Microsoft in a nutshell. Always tried to poach Sony employees, games, 3rd party games and devices like the depth camera that was turned into Kinect but was running on PS2 before Xbox 360. Wouldn't be surprised they wanted LBP. Just like they worked behind the scenes pushing the MLB to bring Sony's baseball game to Xbox instead of making their own.
https://www.playstationlife...
They didn't spend years trying to develop their own baseball game. They wanted Sony's game.
They're scum.
"However, Healey said Media Molecule wouldn't have felt right doing that, adding it would have been "morally corrupt"."
Major kudos to Media Molecule for being an upright studio with principles.
Great, more stories like this please. Show the last of the zombies holding the line what we've been saying for years: Microsoft is anti competition, anti industry and has no interest in making games at all.
But hey, at least there's an Xbox Games Showcase to look forward to, right?
Well considering SONY just killed the series, LBP would've been dead by now either way. Though MM probably wouldn't exist by now either, so I'm glad they stayed with SONY, hopefully they don't get shut down any time soon or ever honestly.
I wonder why do people nit-pick SOCOM so much? I mean, other games have the same nit-pick issues, but you just don't hear people complaining about them. Blip says he likes the game in the podcast, but not after spending an unbelievable amount of time picking at it, and saying nothing positive at all.
Is it a SOCOM grognard thing?
I hear so many people saying "I like it... but..." and they never actually mention why they like it, they just nitpick a bunch of what seem like personal agenda items, mostly.
The grenade throw complaining is really wierd, too... it goes *right* to where your reticle is at, when you throw it, and then it might bounce or roll a little, but not much (and its totally predictable). How is that confusing?
i can elaborate cause i know what i said and they don't even know what the fuck their talking about. first its not a nit pick, they are changes in the game i would like to see to make the game more accurate. @trroy the reticle you mention is so inaccurate because the grenade doesn't go to the where the reticle is placed and you can't judge the distance, loft(time in air) etc, that a grenade arc provides. Lobbies and squads are essential to the title. I have a strong feeling they will be in the final game, but I did not see them at PAX and they are not in this beta although there is a "create a match" choice on the select menu screen. It is responsible of us as gamers to voice our concerns as gamers, and journalists of what we'd like to see in a game or what needs to be fixed or developers will never address the issue or they may change something that wasn't broke to begin with. the random headshots and crosshairs should be addressed as well imo. those are just a few of the thing that should be on their list to improve asap.
now i mention that i like and enjoy the game, because i do. i will draw you a picture as best i can to explain why i like the game. i'm new to SOCOM and the camera angles don't bother me as much as the VETS, but i really enjoy the third person perspective. i enjoy the pace of the game. sneaking, flanking, operating as a team to secure objectives. i'm not good enough to handle "Classic Socom Mode" but i'm looking forward to hop into "one and done" as i call it. i also like the fact you can't go running around crazy shooting everything as you may kill a teamate and lose XP. i could go on, but theres no need to.
i love when ppl disagree with your opinion your a hater, like your not entitled to one. you have to love this moronic gaming generation were in.
tune into another audio log where i don't give a fuck what you say. hate or love its still hits. keep coming,
PEACE
