"If there’s one thing that’s stirred up frustration and discussion in recent years regarding video game sports, it’s the exclusive contract between the NFL and EA Sports. Since the binding contractual relationship between the two, gamers have had only one choice when it comes to video game football."
There’s no doubting the impact that this week’s Presidential Election has had not just on the US but the whole world. While we can’t forget the result (be it good or bad, depending on your political leanings) we can at least distract ourselves with a few good old fashioned video games.

Why do I think that's exactly what's happening behind EA Sports' doors, lmao?
I don't thinks it's happening like that. They were too busy feeding on the tears of small children and puppies to think that up.
The 2K games have been just as crappy as the EA football games. The truth is that football games just haven't been nearly as good since they went 3D, same with the basketball games and tennis games. None of them feel responsive to play due to worrying about all the animations, etc.
I'll stick to the SNES, Genesis era sports sports games, now those are fun!
edit: I agree the 2K basketball games have made great strides and are ok. Still they don't feel as responsive as the old 2D games to me. I wouldn't have to push the block button well in advance to try to get my animation to lign up. NBA Jam, EA basketball games were great when 2D, Joe Montana Football, Tecmo Bowl, Ken Griffy Baseball, etc.
Its not a strike its a lockout. Hugely different things.
Heh, funny comic.
