Producer discusses Resi's latest
GF365: "Is Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City worth playing in 2023? This game originally received less than impressive reviews from critics and gamers alike. You may be wondering what this game is all about."
game was ridiculously dark when i played it bk then. not sure about now.
ike you couldnt see a damn thing ha
Now that Resident Evil 3 remake is less than a month away, here's a look back at the other times Capcom reimagined the 1999 classic game.
The Gamer's Ghost returns in this Late in the Game Review series to revisit Raccoon City. Did Slant Six Games' premier Resident Evil title hold up to the series' standards? Or was it rotten, like the very zombies spawned from Umbrella's dastardly research?
I actually thought this was a fun game. Was it great? No. But there were some very cool moments in the game.
Stand outs were taking on the Nemesis with a group and the Tyrant on the elevator.
One if the worst games I ever had the dishonor of playing I'm glad Capcom has rebounded to making quality games now even outside the RE series.
But we didn't Resident evil to go in a new direction, all we wanted is the horror aspect to come back to it. Capcom never listens to it's fans, I mean people complained about the horriable forced co-op in RE5 and what do they do instead of making Resident evil Outbreak which is the only RE title which WAS good with multiplayer they give this to some shitty developer to make it into an serious "L4D" style action game.
"The idea [to work with a Western developer] came up when we were working on Lost Planet 2"
Yeah and look how that game turned out compared to the first one
"He added, calming fan fears: "I want to clarify something, even though [this is] a shooter, there are still tons of horror elements"
Bullshit, I hardly doubt horror will be in this, it seems way to much action like.
Capcom your so ignorant.... this isn't the only thing that people need to be calmed down for so don't act all cool trying to reassure fans that this is going to be good just so we buy your game. If people want to get Capcom back on track, don't buy the game at release and send them a message. No point buying it to "Give it a try/chance" since your basicaly giving them a sale so they can get to work on a sequel.
So Chris will turn into an emo like Dante?
I have not purchased a Capcom game since the first Lost Planet. I doubt that will change anytime soon.
a shit direction
Slant 6 doing this game will turn out to be as bad as Rebellion ruining Aliens vs Predator. I wont support this.
