I'm going to have to re-buy this for PS3 when I get some money, one of my all time favourite games, can't wait for 3!

malyn4805d ago

first second buy for sure

SLEDGE4805d ago

Yes, I'm getting this :D
Just another reason to boot up ME2 again.
And who knows... Maybe even ME1 ;3

Is it just me, or does the game not look as good with the default Shepard? I'm so used to my custom faces.

Baka-akaB4805d ago

not just you , the face is well modelised , but by default he looks so wooden

Raendom4805d ago

I'm different, I feel that HE is Shephard, when I create my own character it's like I'm Shephard.

tigertron4804d ago

My biggest problem with the male default Shep is Mark Meer's voice, its so boring, so thats why I play as femshep with Jennifer Hale's voice over as she adds more character to Shepard.

Eternus4804d ago

It's not that it doesn't look as "good" it's just that it feels different. For me, I have to make my own Shepard to really be immersed, however, it always will bug me how detailed the default shepard's facial features are, as opposed to the character creator that makes us look like average NPC's.

I realize its because Defaut Shep is based off an actual person, but still lol.

cant wait for the goty edition, which i'm guessing would be out in a month or two.

btw, the soundtrack seems quite similar to blade runner. and i'm wondering if the composer for this dlc is the same as the previous dlc or a preview of clint mansell's work. either way, i'm looking forward to this.

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave46d ago (Edited 46d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
