There really are no words to describe this. Using the Carbon Engine that CCP Games has pioneered, in one trailer you can see in-space combat, in-station interaction (EVE Online) and ground combat coming soon to DUST-514.

Really excited for Dust 514! I hope that it delivers on what the devs set out to make. The trailer definitely gives me some reassurance. Can't wait to see some gameplay!

Saw some actual game play a while back and the game looks Good and the concept is brilliant so far.

The game play is fast and tactical...sorta like BC2. you gotta secure bases and positions for the Corporations (controlled by PC Gamers). PC Gamers will hire the consolers to fight for control of planet so PC Gamers can make the cash for the PC side of Eve.

It had kinda a F.E.A.R. vibe to it as far as graphics but way better. No mindless shooting as the game really serves a major purpose which I really really like. No PC Gamer is gonna pay a consoler who can't secure objectives, K/D ratio doesn't matter as much as who can hold their positions. Seems like the best players will get the most cash for the best weapons and transported to more worlds. You can join a Corp or be a Merc.

You get tanks, jets, hovering APC's and your in contact with a huge supply ship which is the Pc Gamer your getting your vehicles, logistics, and weapons from. so yeh it's more like Bad Company 2 w/ the Commander View from BF2 but on Alien worlds.

I'm sure you will see a Flood of PC Gamers getting consoles to protect their corporation in Eve Online even though Eve is trying to prevent that. This is a brilliant idea to one of the best MMO's on the Net.

And yes getting doubled crossed in Eve is what makes the game great.

I love this concept. Never has an MMO branched out like this. So far the concept is dead on brilliant. I am not an EVE Online player, but I do believe EVE universe has the potential to smash WOW, and all other MMOs at its own pace. I have sampled the game a few times, but without a job. Now I have one. :) Dust 514 offers me my FPS addiction that I love and a purpose. Something I crave is a FPS with real objectives and values on getting the job done right. :)
