I'm all for people having their own opinions. Obviously not everybody is going to like Duke Nukem. But ngl, this guy sounded like he was bitching for the sake of bitching.
"I did this, it didn't satisfy me. I did that, it didn't satisfy me." And even after reading all that text, I'm still not 100% sure why the demo didn't satisfy him.
If you liked Duke back in the day, you will probably like Duke in May. If not, then the game probably won't be for you. If Duke were made with the best graphics possible, it wouldn't be Duke imo.
