As visually charming platformers go, Trine might not have redefined the genre, but it offered a fair amount of smile inducing style and brain-teasing, puzzle-oriented action. Trine 2 seems poised to do the same, taking a distinctly if-it-ain’t-broke approach while upping the artistic tempo.
VGChartz's Taneli Palola: "Pulkkinen is a relatively new face in the video game industry. Thus far he has worked exclusively on games developed by Finnish game studios, but I wouldn't be surprised if at some point in the near future his music begins to attract attention from elsewhere as well. Given that he is only 34 years old he likely has many more years ahead of him in the video game industry."
"Developer Frozenbyte has rolled out for its hit game, Trine 2. The PlayStation patch is now available for download for both US and EU gamers, so if your PS4 doesn’t automatically download patches, better head on over and flick that switch on."
Looks amazing! Day 1. If you have not played the first one, it is definately worth it. Buy it.
Yeah, the first Tine was and still is great. I'm playing it now. Can't wait for this one.
