First Screenshot of Hitman 5

For the last three weeks, members of the Hitman Forum website have been following a breadcrumb trail in a Hitman ARG (alternate reality game). All their efforts had led them to the first released screenshot from the upcoming Hitman 5 game. The users have also discovered that we will be able to learn more about the IO Interactive game at this summer’s E3 convention. Save and Quit will be there and post any and all updates on Hitman 5.

I started playing it a few or so ago. Didn't play it for too long. I think it's just because the gameplay felt weird. Not the games fault, I think its just due to the fact that it's an aged game and players get used to the gameplay for newer games.

I guess you mean the controls lack a kind of modern elegance? I can understand that. It's still very functional though. The suburbs and opera house are absolute must plays.

I recommend hitman blood money for the 360 or pc. Ps2 version is identical, just not as good as graphics.

Hopefully it's legit as a new Hitman game has been long overdue. It'll show games like Splinter Cell how to do stealth the right way.

I actually really enjoyed the new Splinter Cell. Also to the above posters, The first Thief showed how stealth should be done. No one has really done much with it since then.

That would be pretty cool, especially if they released the original since it's never been on consoles (well, kinda in Contracts, but not really).

Been waiting a long time for Hitman to finally hit the PS3.

And this just reminds me, I really should finish Blood Money...bought the PS2 version a few years ago, but for some reason I just couldn't get into it.

The Hitman series is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite Stealth series...I just hope that the developers don't try to make it too shooter oriented just to appeal to the mainstream.

Totally agree with the last bit of the article. I really hope they dont try and make it like the splinter cell conviction game of the series. After the kane and lynch business I hope they can show that they know how to make a proper game and maybe it could point them in the right direction with the 3rd Kane & Lynch.

Artistically speaking Kane & Lynch 2 was a fantastic title, it's just that its gameplay mechanics where that of a bogged down Third Person Shooter. It's story and characters where brilliant to watch play out and can hopefully be a contributing addition taken from the developers new experience made since Blood Money for future Hitman instalments. I'm not sure what I want appart from improved AI and more ingaging story, but being a HUGE fan of Third Person shooters and what with cover systems being implemented into K & L, it would be good to see one included in Hitman V, especially since in sticky situations in previous titles combat wasn't particularly the greatest aspect.

I'm looking forward to seeing what new AI Capabilities can contribute to the franchise. Hitman has always been a sophisticated franchise but when revisited years later it has become a frustration due to the over curiosity of the AI. Hopefully the next installment can bring us an even more naturalistic experience...

I agree with all the other die hard Hitman fans. It needs to stay TRUE to the game please don't dumb it down. Keep the things that made it great. Just nice and updated. I agree with the HD collection. I recently bought the 2nd and 3rd games for the PS2 as I have a PS3 with BC and wanted to refresh myself with them after playing Blood Money again. I remember playing Hitman: Codename 47 way back when lol. What a great game that was for the time. They should HD that bad boy up and release it on the XBL Arcade & PSN Store. It was only about 400mb when it came out a nice HD touched up version wouldn't be that big maybe 1gb at most. Most demos for games are over 1gb these days. Hitman 5 is a game that I have been waiting for for a long time. Heres looking forward to E3!

This should be cool. I could definitely go for a new Hitman game. I've thoroughly enjoyed the franchise in the past. It's one of my favorite stealth game franchises.

I hope this one is legit, new Hitman would be more than good thing. I just hope they won't change the gameconcept too much, which seems to be the trend these days, "re-inventing" old titles. Oldschool Hitman with improved visuals, controls, etc for the fans (and for others too), yes thank you! :D
