ShockblastMedia.com: Homefront Review

From ShockblastMedia.com: "Homefront is a game that had the best of intentions, but in the end, flat out failed in the delivery. This is one of the most disappointing video games I have ever purchased, and that is truly unfortunate, because I really wanted this game to be good and I was really excited for it. I am glad I bought it though, because it really makes me question the ethics of those in the “media” that are clearly sucking up to stay in THQ’s good graces by giving this positive reviews. I just don't see it. It's not possible. If anyone wants to talk up the powerful story and imagery involved in Homefront, they can join me at the front of the line, but once you get beyond all of that, you are still left with an average shooter with graphics that make it virtually unplayable. I don’t see a chance in hell that there will ever be a Homefront 2, and that is truly unfortunate, because this was a franchise I was hoping to get behind. "

Oh come on. Now that's just ridicolous. If you only judge it by the SP then it's at lowest a 6. With the MP being as good as it is I'd give the full game an 8 or 8.5.

Multiplayer is one of the worst I've ever played. Garbage.

MP isnt that bad. Its been fun for me. SP story is amazing though. Well in my eyes it is. A little short, but it is keeping me interested..

Homefront tried to be like CoD. How the hell is that having the best intentions?

So... Kaos Studios did a lot of talking up their product and missed the mark, next up Crytek.

An intro to Biomutant

Alex & Mike talk Biomutant, a game from Experiment 101/THQ Nordiq you likely have not heard of. While the AAA side of the industry tends to homogenization and imitative, cinematic presentation, “AA” games remain creative and innovative in 2021. Drawing on inspirations as varied as Dark Souls, third person shooters & kung fu cinema, Biomutant is Ratchet & Clank on acid, developed by a team of 20 people.

THQ's Golden Wii, Meant for the Queen of England, has been Found

Remember THQ? They published such games as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Darksiders I & II, the Destroy All Humans series, Homefront, the Red Faction series, and Saint's Row 1-3. Almost as famous as their games were the THQ marketing stunts, including a Golden Wii.
