RipTen Review: Homefront is Deep and Engaging

Gavin of RipTen: War. War never changes- but only because it doesn’t need to in order to sell 14 million units.

I pen this journal on scraps of paper in my (parent’s basement) reinforced bunker, far underground. The bombs from battles above shake dust loose from the floorboards and give the entire room a dull brown haze. The pallet is quite familiar to me, as I’ve seen it dozens of times over the last few years

The first line of this review speaks so much truth.

LOL every comment in here is from Ripten staff members. This game is a steaming pile of horseshit.

THQ is contacting press members today hoping to push this piece of crap game on unsuspecting consumers. This is the truth of the matter.

I only see like 2 ripten staff members (I know 'em all) :-p I don't think it's an 8.5 but it's definitely not a steaming pile of horse shit.

Edit: I just went through your comments - your a Homefront hating troll disguised as a hot chick! Off with your head!!!!!!!

LightFantastic4806d ago

All the comments are actually just sentient androids I've created to do my bidding.

Gotta push those talking points somehow.

Great and funny review!! Good game but a tad short.

seraphcaeli4806d ago

Review was WAY TOO LONG. I skipped to the end. The campaign is like 4 hours! Not worth my $60 if I don't play multiplayer!

CrzyFooL4806d ago

I'd give it a 7.5 - multiplayer is fun but campaign got cut short so they can make a sequel.

Nostradavis4806d ago

Oh there's no place like Homefront for the holidays...

Invadersims4806d ago

It's a good game. Definitely worth a play.

The multiplayer in Homefront was actually really fun.
