Kaos' Homefront has been out since Tuesday in the US, selling 375,000 copies on the first day alone, which delighted the publishers THQ. But now it seems that they don't have that much to laugh about, as complaints are gathering up on Homefront's forums.
Jack writes: "Back in March 2011, the first-person action shooter Homefront arrived on the Xbox 360 from THQ, along with a storm of publicity which included a really cool live-action trailer"
Last week game dev Steve Thornton took to Twitter to ask: fellow devs, have you ever slipped something into a game you're working on that's just for you? The replies are well worth a read.
Deep Silver and Humble Bundle are currently offering the first Homefront game for free. This offer will last for the next 48 hours, so be sure to visit its Humble Bundle page in order to acquire your free copy.
get it! the single player is excellent and intense and the MP is pretty fun, too.
Ehh, PS4 needs these deals too, or consoles in general we always get discounts rarely free stuff that's REALLY free (games with gold / psplus isn't free)
When was the last time thq made a top quality game?
WWE :)
But I actually was little excited about Homefront release.
I'm enjoying Homefront, what game now day's doesn't release with a few minor issues?
People complaining about the short campaign should at least be happy it had a campaign, I mean games like Socom Confrontation, MAG and Warhawk had absolutely no offline mode and yet were full priced anyway.
I beat the campaign in about 5 hours, the online was actually fresh and felt different and new, much better then Bad Company or the newer Medal Of Honor games.
Overall I find the game rather enjoyable and feel like people try to compare it to Call Of Duty when they are really different games at the core. No game is going to look amazing next to COD, but this game isn't trying to be COD.
