Kotaku: Battle: Los Angeles The Game Is Shorter than the Movie

Released last week to poor reviews, alien invasion flick Battle: Los Angeles runs 116 minutes long. The video game tie-in lasts less than half of that.

The whole concept of the movie was crap. This and Skyline are terrible movies. Only Independance Day did teh aline invasion right I think.

Well, to be fair, it was 3 months of dev work. But since the game is only around 45-50 minutes, the price should only be about $2 or $3, not $10...

Jonathan Liebesman he is a South African director who did the Texas chainsaw massacre. Guess the studios were hoping that Neill Blombkamp(district 9)and him were related.

Whilst I'm primarily very sceptical about movies of which recieve bad reviews, I found the movie to be enjoyable from an action standpoint, the story was terrible, with Ne-Yo's character not mentioning his Fiancee's well being throughout being one of the frustrating flaws. Aaron Eckhart's acting was as guessed great. It very much feel's like watching someone else play a videogame...with phenominal graphics.

so much for the amazing special effects and a 100 mil budget on the film , they might as well call the game "Altenate ending "
