Mortal Kombat Xbox Character Predictions

Bandit of TLR writes "So what does Microsoft have to offer? Does Netherealm even have Xbox in their plans? who knows, but that doesn’t stop us from brainstorming. We got to thinking on the exclusive characters MS would have to offer, that would fit in with the other MK fighters."

There are none, get over it.

LOGICWINS4819d ago

Actually, u don't know that. If u watched the MK9 episode of Gamespot's "On the Spot", Boon responded "we haven't announced anything yet" when asked about a 360 exclusive character. If there was no exclusive 360 character in the works...why didn't he just deny it?

Blad3star4818d ago

All MK needs is Scorpion and Sub Zero and it a first day purchase for me.

RedDead4818d ago (Edited 4818d ago )

That's because they're the most badass characters in gaming. There's no Xbox characters that fit in though really. Kratos seems at home there though.

Too Late!!!! Sorry DVD . No one on xbox

Blad3star4818d ago (Edited 4818d ago )

Spawn would be awesome.

I know that Spawn is not a MS character but that did not stop them in from putting him in Soul Calibur.

He would fit in perfect.

Blad3star4818d ago (Edited 4818d ago )

Also the dude from Too Human

Or the Ninja from Ninja Blade or Ninja Gaiden.

Etseix4818d ago (Edited 4818d ago )

Its Mortal Kombat, not Dead or Alive or Soul Scalibur

and no man, seriously even if i like xbox, Xbox dont have a good character for Mortal Kombat.

TheBatman_Fanatic4816d ago

ryu hayabusa is not exclusive to xbox lol

bacrec14819d ago (Edited 4819d ago )

Oh no sir. we have MK pre-ordered for PS3. We can't wait to play with the Ghost of Sparta. Were just coming in from all angles.

Alright If there had to be an exclusive fighter on the 360, I would say either General Ramm or Skorge. I'm leaning more toward Skorge though because he's agile and more suitable for hand to hand combat.

Gen0ne4818d ago

Hey, that's good thinking. I agree. Even though I'm getting the PS3 one ( hate my 360 d-pad ) if the 360 got that, that would be pretty dope. As far as ideas go, this is the best I've heard yet.

Kamikaze1354819d ago

I don't think anybody from the Halo games should be used. Halo isn't known to be such a violent and bloody game..so using Kratos was only fitting. Not really sure who the 360 only character should be. But I doubt there will ever be a 360 only character for this game. It's close to getting released and no news yet.

LOGICWINS4819d ago

It's more than a month away, so its not THAT close to being released. Plenty of things can happen between now and then. Keep in mind how they've mentioned virtually nothing about the story mode besides that it has to do with time travel.

gameguidedog4819d ago

I still think they should let you play skeletor from He-Man, that would be wicked funny.

My favorite is always going to be Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. I know some people didn't like the addition of the run button. But, man that game is burned into my memory from childhood, lol.

Relientk77197d ago

That's the one I played the most as a kid. Fun times gaming on my Sega Genesis, the memories

Terry_B196d ago

Deception, MK2, MK9, MKX ..rest.

Kakashi Hatake196d ago

MK2 will always be the best in the series. Been playing a lot of MK1 lately though. Definitely enjoying it more than any other NRS era MK game.

Tankbusta40196d ago

1 and 2 were cultural phenomenon's.

I will always have a special place in my memory for MK 1 and 2. You had to be there during that era at the arcades. Martial arts tournament fighting movies were still popular, and MK 1 was exciting. Real life motion captured characters done well (unlike Pit Fighter). A cast of characters we all liked like Bruce Lee(Lui Kang), Van Damme(Johnny Cage), the Lightning god(Raiden) from Big Trouble in Little China, and Ninjas, gotta have Ninjas. Goro was menacing as hell. The MK arcade had some of the best speakers similar to Killer Instinct as you could hear the loud crisp and bassy sound that was distinctly different than other arcades. MK 2 improved greatly on the controls and fighting mechanics
