Harvest Moon creator and Marvelous Entertainment President Yasuhiro Wada told Game Informer Online that the next Harvest Moon title will take the series online. However, Wada did not say on what platform the game will be. Game Informer speculates a Wii or DS version is quite likely.
Wada made it clear that the online version of Harvest Moon will not be an MMO; it will allow 2-8 players to visit your town. Wada said they're experimenting with having the same NPCs in everyone's town.
