EA Sports has announced they will not be releasing a roster update for NBA Jam, or any further patches.
People have work, family, school, and other important things that prevent them from playing basketball on a court. Some people like the sport, some people don't. However, when it comes to basketball video games, even 5 or 10 minutes can bring out people's basketball skills in a video game.
Nice article. I would add Tecmo NBA Basketball for the NES to this list. I liked the focus on NBA Jam, though!

LOL! Thats why im glad I didn't pay $50 bucks for this! I feel sorry for the people who did thinking there was going to be support for it. I played the hell out of NBA Jam on my 360 but I'll be damned to pay for that crap! I knew EA was going to do this. I knew they were when they saw the sales.

I have to respectfully disagree. Competition engenders innovation, even when it's crappy like the ill-fated NBA Elite.
i could of cared less about a roster update. The online needed to be fixed, and some of the game issues.
i dont care, the game is fantastic as it is.
