Rubbish? I dont see any problem giving players assistance as long as it doesn't take away the integrity of the game. Its just a helpful tool to accommodate only those who need it or want it.

I just dont understand the mentality out there on some so called hardcore gamers who cant see past their own enjoyment. Whether its a feature like in Uncharted where the camera will span when you hold a button for hints or a game like Forza 3 with its rewind feature that is totally optional or a device like Kinect and the Wii that can expand beyond the traditional core gamer.

It really is all about enjoyment for anyone and everyone has a different interpretation of entertainment.

My guess is that Bounkass wanted a more traditional online play, even though Rockstar already ruled that out. If he really thinks an optional assist system is rubbish then he can just go ahead and play the game without it (and probably brag about it at every possible point).

I personally think it's a pretty good idea, considering the type of game it is. As long as it doesn't break the immersion, the more MP components, the merrier.
