Frightening news today has brought the Homefront timeline a huge step closer to reality with the Korean's suspected development of an EMP weapon, and record high fuel prices. Is everything coming together too precisely?

Homefront could actually happen I believe with the state we are at now. Good comparison with real-life and a video game. LOL

Don't worry; the UN will fix things, as usual.
[Snarky LOLz]

This article is moronic. Technology described has BEEN invented, I guarantee it. It's just nuclear weapons all over again. One person does it, everyone else will. And it will lead to catastrophe.

"Worrying enough on its own, without the Guardian chipping in with reports that fuel in the UK has hit its highest ever price, at over £6 per gallon"
Gas.....getting more expensive?! Dear God, the unprecedented horror!

But what really kills it in the end is NK taking the offensive. They're starving.

http://theweek.com/article/...

They've opened up the private market:
http://www.washingtonpost.c...

With their starvation and their desperate plea for foreign aid.....these are the people who will invade a country with the most powerful military on the planet? Regardless if they knock out some communications or not? I don't think so.

Pray to God (or hold a thumbs up) that the wave of crashing dictatorships somehow manages to reach NK.

Why would N-Korea invade all the countries around it let alone the States?? What good does that do?

We don't live in an age where we can just conquer lands and exploit them and their natural resources. It's just simply isn't beneficial in this globalized world we live in.

So rest assured, no-one will be invading America any time soon.

Nothing like a good little conspiracy theorist to mix things up.

You gotta be joking. This is journalism?

N4GAddict4816d ago

I'll believe it when I see it

hellzsupernova4816d ago

when you see the korean tanks rolling up your doorstep...might be a bit late by then :/

but yeah its possible but highly doubtful. does the world try to stop N.Korea in this game?

SSKILLZ4816d ago (Edited 4816d ago )

Lollolololololol , atleast he will believe it :P

TheDivine4816d ago

Its not possible at all. NK might invade s korea but they would get owned. They dont have enough of an army for anything. The whole countrys starving, half the population is blind from cataracs. They are dying slowly behind kim jong il. Anyone who speaks out well their whole family goes off the concentration camps. The only reason there is still a n korea is they have nukes. You see this is what communissim gets you, a starving dying country. Its really sad how people live over there. You should watch some documentarys off netflix that show how n korea really is, its like bieng on another planet.

@theDivine dont be so naive the USA couldn't beat them the first time they tried.
