Probably. They're saying that the Euro version(s) of the game(s) has been standardized for all regions in the collection. Slightly different ending to SotC on the continent, I believe--or was it Ico? Either way, suggests Japan might not be singled out for awesome this time.

It will be well worth it, especially for SotC whose graphical ambition perhaps exceeded the hardware it was on. That game used graphics trick that are only now becoming standard.

I can't even tell you how fucking annoyed I am about this. I've been patiently fucking hanging on for this thing. First we were told we were getting the fucking Last fucking guardian last fucking year now it's next fucking year and I thought I could make it if I had this thing to tide me over but no, fuck that. I've got nothing in the gaming world to look forward to now, maybe LA noire but this was the only fucking thing I was actually excited for, the kind of excited I used to get about games but haven't in a long time. unfortunately this game gets pushed back when the Sony's marketers feel it will sell the best and help push the last guardian along, so It's sort of tied to the last guardian's release.

Possible the collection could see a delay. There was rumor that Sony was planning on releasing a demo of The Last Gaurdian with the collection. They may have pushed it back to allow a more accurate demo to be attatched before it goes on sale.

Then again if this was pushed back because Ueda said that The Last Gaurdian needed some extra touches...then The Last Guardian needed some touches.

Still looking forward to both the collection and The Last Guardian.

I swear this what I hate about Japanese developers. They have OCD when they develop games. They're perfectionist. It's never finished for them. They obsesses over a game for years. I have news for you Japanese developers. You're never going to achieve perfection! Look what happened to FF13, GT5. The end results were pretty mediocre. Even if you did like those games. There was just as much bad reviews as their were good. The positive majority didn't win. I hope The Last Guardian doesn't end up the same.

I'm not really complaining. 2011 is really expensive for gaming so any cuts like these isn't so bad...even though I really wanted that HD collection. Amazon is usually on-point with their release dates, I'm guessing they are among the first of retailers to get notified of this kinds of things (release date, price etc.) Anyhow, more money saved for us PS3 fans if you look at it that way.
