Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle has all the elements and aspects of a solid strategy/RPG, and despite the fact that it’s more than a few years old, it delivers what it promises.
Unfortunately, the whole thing feels a little more muddled than it should’ve been; the combination of the less-than-slick interface, occasionally overly complex gameplay mechanic, somewhat generic plot and characters, etc.; it all comes together to hinder our enjoyment.
Twelve years have passed since Phantom Brave was originally released for the Playstation 2. It saw ports on the Wii, Phantom Brave: We Meet Again and a PSP version, Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle which included additional content. Finally, this strategy RPG has hit PC through Steam and is quite impressive.

A few years after being released onto the PlayStation 2 and ported onto the Nintendo Wii, NIS America releases the tactics-style RPG Phantom Brave: The Hermuda Triangle onto the PSP. Are five new characters and slightly-improved graphics enough to keep the game from showing it's age?
