SonyRumors dives into what SOCOM Tactical Strike 2 For the PS Vita might be like and why Sony, along with Slant Six Games needs to make this game. What features would you like to see? Share your thoughts with us in our comment section and poll.
Tactical strike was a good game with some flaws, I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel on Vita. I think I would rather see something more along the lines of fireteam bravo. It would need to go back to ftb2's gameplay though, none of that regenerating health and linear gameplay like ftb3.
Meh, average series, needs to just die. When was the last AA quality game that was spawned from this series?
hows about we forget about vita and just make a good socom for ps3 like the ps2 games i would love a socom remake on ps3! socom in the ps2 days was the best online game ever no matter how many glitches it had still nothing today even comes close to it.
I love Socom like most of its die hard followers, but I think slant six and zipper have not made an excellent Socom this generation on consoles. Confrontation was good, but not great, and the Socom 4 was okay.
IMO Socom hasn't had the critical acclaim since the PS2 days and developers need to reassess what they need to do to bring it to the Vita to make it a worthy purchase. Of course fans will buy it, but Socom has never really been a Blockbuster seller, but they need to find a way to make it appeal to the masses as we realize games aren't cheap and they have to make a profit. Hopefully if Sony decides to revisit the franchise they can make it worthwhile for themselves and the consumer.

Re5 DLC looks good too
After being released to critical despair, major network issues, and gamer distaste, Socom Confrontation still lives. Now that it's had a load of updates, corrections, and patches, it's finally playable, and coming up on it's one year birthday, Socom Confrontations is getting it's first taste of DLC in the form of the Cold Fronts Map pack.
