Are you ready for the next round of EA's champion franchise?
It’s been almost a decade since the critically acclaimed Fight Night Champion, the final title in a series of beloved boxing video games from Electronic Arts. Since 2011, the studio has been focused on its mixed martial arts title, UFC, instead. But with the rise of the popularity of boxing again, thanks to fighters like Floyd Mayweather and Tyson Fury, could we possibly have another Fight Night game on the way?
I honestly cannot state enough just how much i want a new fight night!!!
Boxing is one of my fav sports to watch and it has been way to long since iv had a game to enjoy.
Undisputed looks like a ps3 game, cmon EA, stuff UFC, give the people what we really want which is a boxing game!!!
IT'SSSSSSSS FIIIIIIGHT NIIIIIIGHT!!!!
I hope they make it like round four instead of champions but ill take any fight night at this point
They need to go back to the good roots of FN R2 and FN R3. Everything after watered down the formula too much and enabled gimmicks. FNR2&3 are some of the greatest fighting games ever.
From Xfire: "Sports games are the average Joe's best chance at getting to play under the big bright lights with thousands of people in the stands watching their every move. It doesn't matter if you're a hoops junkie or a baseball fan, sports video games let you live out your hopes and dreams."

In the words of the great Stone Cold Steve Austin Ooooh Hell Yeeeeah!!! lol. Also it would be sweet if EA gave us a new Def Jam Fighting game with a roster of Rappers that's unheard of. Biggie.Pun.Pac.Jam Master Jay.Eminem.JayZ.Eazy E.MGK.Naz. and over 60 of the best rappers ever past and present. One can only hope.
ign gave this 8 yet i agree more with gt's review
can we still play this game with buttons?
the story seems really good i hope for next they improve the career mode a bit
when i first went to GT all i heard was shanes a nintendo fanboy and marcus is a 360 fanboy.
i was like no thanks i'll stick with G4 but after wanting to hear what the thought of a game i listened and was hooked to IWs.
there reviewer actually review games. they don't review games for the site like IGN. At GT you better have some good reasons why you scored a game a certain way. they will call each other out which is great.
meaning on Ign they have reviewer on beyond so i hear them say i liked this i didn't like that...so what did IGN give it. and next topic. IGN and G4 there is ZERO accountability.
on IW its you gave this game a ___ then the reviewer gets grilled by questions and has to defend the review.
i tried to tell collin from IGN what i said above and he thought i was hating on IGN . i was like on my ps3 the only ign page i go to is the podcast section to download beyond. i don't trust reviewer that score a game a certain way because the site.
i no longer to g4
a nice review for a game THAT tried to change and improve.
i'm not fan enough of boxing to buy this title but i sure know when people try to impress me
I finished beat the campaign last week. The best way to fight IMO is to mix buttons with the analog stick. I would say more but I would spoil the story for people. I will say this, Issac Frost is the most menacing fighter/boss I've seen in a while. EA did an awesome job with this game... it is twice the game that Fight Night Round 4 was IMO.
The graphics and movements are great. It is a vast improvement. The only problem is that the referee sometimes gets in the way of your view when you are getting in the thick of things, but it doesn't happen enough to be a deal breaker. The automatic ringside maintenance is better than the way Round 4 was setup. I cannot comment about online and how it performs, because I was like one of 33 people online playing the game. So I couldn't connect to any online matches. I assume they were reviewers, etc. I only have 7 trophies, I didn't start a career with a made up fighter, etc, because it looked very similar to Round 4, and I got tired of playing that mode in the last game.
All the features of the old Round 4 still seem to be there. What pisses me off is that there is stuff already for sale on the EA online store, and you can access it in game (how convenient).
The review scores are well earned, they REALLY put the polish on this game. The story is great, graphics are great, and the control scheme/variety is great. 9.5 out of 10 IMO. Boxing fans will love this game.
P.S. - I have no idea why "old school" afro George Foreman is locked in Fight Now mode. Everyone else is accessible from what I can tell. But EA will nickel and dime you to death on getting gear with special attributes, etc.
Been watching Lights out, on FX. That alone gave me incentive to purchase this game, looking forward to the story mode + online fights.
