Dungeon Hunter: Alliance multiplayer trailer for PS3

XMNR: Gameloft previously announced that they were bringing their iOS game Dungeon Hunter exclusively to the PS3 with upgraded HD graphics. Now the company has released a trailer showing off Dungeon Hunter: Alliance's new four-player multiplayer in action.

Ah it looks nice. This could be my answer to torchlight on 360. I really wanted that to come to PS3 as well, but since they have signed an exclusive deal with MS I don't see that happening if ever.

So this might be a really good alternative.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. I don't know how the gameplay will compare to Torchlight but the four-player local and online multiplayer is always a plus.

you could always get torchlight on PC. The system requirements are pretty low, and the game can be bought for around $3 during steam sales and whatnot.

I just wanted it on console because its my platform of choice. I play WOW as well...but if it came to consoles I'd transfer in a heartbeat...still I see your point.

Just was a little bummed that they won't bring it to the PS3 as well.

Dungeon Hunter isn't bad, but it unfortunately is a lesser version of Torchlight. At least based on what I've played on my iPhone. It's a great iPhone game, though.

If you don't have a 360, get Torchlight for your PC. Torchlight should be able to run on most machines out there. If you have a 360, pick up Torchlight sometime after its release. It's an enjoyable Diablo-esque romp with a ton of content to explore and abilities to use.

Not always, they do have GREAT mobile games.. but sometimes it's just a poor "copy and paste" of great games.

I have this game on my phone...and enjoy it in small bites so this could be a nice addition to PSN. I will probably pass on it for now though given the amount of actual big RPG's coming out soon and well this year: DA2, Dungeon Seige 3, Elder Scrolls Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 are all going to be more than enough for me this year. Not too mention Two Worlds 2. Man this is a big year for RPG / Dungeon Crawlers.

You know I bought Xenogears from PSN. Makes me miss the good ole days of the JRPG. When things just seemed more relevant.

Now with all this story fluff something was lost in Elderscrolls, ME, etc.

Then again there really hasn't been a good alternative to them. Though I did like playing NIER.

Looks promising, but i am honestly worried about quality, it does seems good, but what i've experienced from many gameloft titles is this: I see a trailer, the game looks good > I play the game, the game looks "meh" or sometimes.. really bad (speaking mostly of the iOS versions).

I am sold, being a huge Champions of Norrath die hard fanatic I'll say it has promise. Although I still want my champions HD remake or perhaps sequel, this will have to do i suppose.

me and my wife Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1 and 2, and Champions of Norrath and Return to Arms.

we're always lamenting the lack of co-op hack n slash games we can actually play together. we'll definitely be giving this game a try when it hits. it's a shame it can't be in March instead of April.

we already beat Dead Nation, and we're working on Deathspank and Scott Pilgrim (which we only play when our friend comes over and plays 3 player with us).

i didn't quite know what to expect when i fired up this trailer, but i am pleasantly surprised.

I like Gameloft's quality and the price is always right.

Online co-op dungeon crawler RPGs (Diablo anyone?) always make me want to pull the old wallet out.

I will probably end up getting this day 1.

Hmm.... just finished 4 player castle crashers and it was a great experience playing with my friends. I think I'll get this when it comes out to play 4 players with my friends. Good times....
