With the NBA delivering record ratings for television partners ESPN, ABC and TNT, the league is extending its video game licensing deals with Electronic Arts’ EA Sports and Take-Two Interactive’s 2K Sports for multiple years. The NBA has been working with EA since 1991 and Take-Two since 1999. Unlike the NFL, which has an exclusive deal with EA for its Madden NFL franchise; the NBA has always taken an open approach to game publishers.
