So when SOE announced their latest expansion for Everquest 2, Destiny of Velious, you know that they'd have to reach deeper into their bag of tricks to pull out an expansion worthy of the name.
EverQuest II is an online universe that exists parallel to the hugely successful gaming phenomenon EverQuest. I actually played this game a few days ago for the first time. Really early in the game I noticed how limited F2P really was.
Dave Georgeson doesn’t see gamers playing Everquest II or World of Warcraft in the next 10 years. He feels the ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ concept has been exhausted and that new concepts should be introduced, including ideas that are more lifestyle-based.
