All but the first game were previously announced. Given its publisher (and title), the first game is likely a train simulation game of some form.

The remaining 8 titles are currently a mystery, so we encourage wild speculation.

Sony will also have a theater in its booth which will show video footage of a total of 35 titles. We presume there will be some overlap with the playable titles and the video-only titles, but Sony wasn't clear about the matter.

The anticipation for this console is through the roof. The PS3 is going to have a very memorable launch line up, with games that truely show a glimps of what the system will be capable of :) I can't wait.

Sony will be on home turf for the TGS - preaching to the choir, if you will. Japanese gamers will feel good that Sony saved the party for them.

dude, come on now. use a little common sense. the announcement was made by Microsoft, not EA or Konami, both of whom support PS3 with their key titles. the media turned it into this "huge blow to Sony" business, when in fact neither game would've probably showed up on the PS3 until this time next year anyway. to further prove my point, those respective games aren't even "exclusive" to the 360, as they're coming to the higher-selling PS2 as well, which will STILL feed Sony's coffers. besides, i think Madden and MGS (the latter's a true PS3 exclusive) will sell systems FAR more than Fifa and Pro Evo

Honestly? Even though the list is big... it has nothing. It has the BIG titles but nothing spectacular, in my opinion. Nothing that makes me go wow. I'm not hating PS3. It's just that to enjoy those games you have to be in the mood.

I might just want to see Mahjong Taikai IV. Everything else is bland in my opinion. They're great titles, but they aren't for the every gamer. You have to be in love with it or follow it to be super excited to try it. I am not.

I'd rather see full games or some quirky adventure games that are just pick up and play titles.

The games listed will just show what the system is capable of. But they’re nothing HUGE.

I just hope Resistance does good in the eyes of gamers.

Typically, launches are comprised of formulaic game releases, with the more creative properties coming later in the system's life. I don't see how you can completely blow off DMC, Lair, AND Heavenly Sword. If they're not your cup of tea, then I understand; but that does not diminish from how good the games will likely be.

I can't think of any game besides Tetris that appeals to nearly EVERY gamer out there; of course most games are an "if it's your taste" experience.

If you want a quirky adventure game, you need look no further than Okami. Only two more weeks till it arrives!

Seems like we all keep repeating ourselves on here over and over. I don't really care about the comparisons of both Consoles. I know what the 360 can do. I have an xbox, PS3, and gamecube, I'm just being real on here. ThePS3 is too much hype, too many promises and I bet you they won't deliver. Just like the PS2.

The Ps3 is 3 months from launch what you think KEN and the press is going to keep their mouths shut till launch day. Sony has some catching up to do not in terms of consoles sales(well that too)but all them CGI's its been showing and not enough gameplay material.

We still don't know much about thier online network besdies fanboys swearing its 100% free. Who knows what issues this hardware will have? Most gaming systems have had issues. So paying close to a grand for something thats not proven and tested, besides the Idiotic Fanboys on here gushing over Visuals is not worth it.

I'm not about Sony failing, its more of you can't convince me to think that its worth that price and much of the Hardware was really needed. Teh only Plus I like about sony is the gaming library of 2 generation of consoles while xbox only has one. I have a Ps2 and there are some games I might wanna play well sequals.
