G4TV: Jurassic Park Hands-On

Telltale Games' five-part series will serve as a direct sequel to the first Jurassic Park movie, and will put a larger emphasis on character development and adventure than pure action.

I enjoyed the demo for back to the Future, so I am definietly getting that. I am also keeping an eye out for this one. I want to see the gameplay thats not QTE, like the exploration and puzzle solving. A heavy rain style jurassic park sounds super fricking cool.

The whole heavy rain style thingy is an excuse to not add actual gameplay

Can't wait for this one. I'm pretty behind on some of the Telltale Games catalog so I might be caught up when all 5 episodes are out.

To be fair im not very excited for this because when i think of dinosaurs in games its supossed to shoot at them and not just watch or run from them.

I may be surprised when ill get to play the demo till then let´s keep it that way.

Infernostew4829d ago

In the original Jurassic Park movie, did anyone besides Muldoon try to shoot the dinosaurs? If I wanted to play a game where I shot dinosaurs I'd pull out Dino Crisis or Turok.

mightyboot4829d ago

Yes i know the idea behind the jurassic park movies is not to kill the dinosaurs but when that passes onto a videogame i dont know if that´s gonna work out.

Let´s wait and see.

I am interested in this game for one basic reason: it has dinosaurs. If not Dino Crisis, I will settle for this. I enjoyed Heavy Rain very much actually, so I personally don't mind QTE gameplay style: that if the story is well written and characters are interesting.

I hope this comes to PS3 like Back to the Future did.

The Best Jurassic Park Games To Date

The beauty of these extinct animals were resurrected in Steven Spielberg’s movie, Jurassic Park, the film adaptation of Michael Crichton’s book. It was phenomenal. If film creators can do it, why not video-game developers?

No Jurassic Park on the Sega Genesis? Really? :[

PurpHerbison2166d ago

Nothing better than the T-Rex saying SEGA in the beginning to get you hyped as a kid.

Remeber the one on the snes? The only Jurassic Park game I played

PurpHerbison2166d ago

It was a good game but it didn't carry nearly as much suspense as the SEGA version. Could just be a case of the SEGA version being my first though.

CrimsonWing692166d ago (Edited 2166d ago )

Dude Jurassic Park 1 on the Genesis or even the SNES isn't on here!? This list is mostly garbage JP games... like the TTG one, really?
