i got spawned trapped just like this in Firing Range the guy ended with 149 kills...... yep....

But seems to happen when you play demolition that the spawn is at its worse.. But overall the whole game and all game modes the spawn is bad and even worse at Nuketown where a single killstreak like Rolling Thunder or Napalm can kill you twice because it spawns you in middle of the way...

The spawning is horrible on Black Ops.
I've only played 5 games since it came out last year and I couldn't even get out of my spawn.
So lucky I sold that piece of crap on Goozex and will be getting other games instead.
Only 2 COD games exist in my game collection now and that's COD4 and MW2.
Can't wait to get rid of Call of Duty.

This has been cod for years. Not as bad but it's not surprising at all. The napalm is the worst though. I could be inside a fully enclosed building and still die from napalm strikes. It's rage inducing. It's like i see a building with no windows but somehow i still die because the napalm clips through the walls.

Didn't most people know the spawns were terrible and to the people saying"oh this never happens on bc2 or bc2 spawns are perfect(exg)" I constantly spawn near people in squad deathmatch. this one time I spawned in front of a squad of 4 medics..need I say more..

At least in Bad Company and many other FPS you can choose where you spawn, so that if you know someone is camping a spawn then you don't have to spawn there. You're complaining about the spawns in BC2 on Squad Deathmatch? that's just a tacked on game mode to attempt to appeal to arcade shooter fans, the spawn system in BC2 isn't built for the tiny maps in squad deathmatch. Although you really would think that after so many years of countless FPS that they would have solved the spawn camping issue in every game by now.

Yes, you have a choice of spawning in BC2 and is much better than what other games offer, for the most part. But in modes like Squad Deathmatch the spawning system is horrible, and BC2 would be so much less enjoyable without Squad Deathmatch. I'm amazed at how many times people spawn next to me or I spawn next to someone

Also, Conquest mode can be the biggest spawn camping mode ever!! On some maps that is the only objective for squads, thus the entire other team quits........I don't see the enjoyment in that at all.

If you people actually played the game then you know the spawns are different depending on gametype. For Demolition, the spawns are always the same for teams on each side. Demolition is where people in a party of 6 go to raise up their kill/death ratios. It's common. If you don't want this happening, I suggest you play team deathmatch or FFA where the spawns constantly flip around. If you go into an objective game type, beware of the static spawns. Any good player knows how to get out of a spawn trap. This is NOT a glitch, this is done on purpose. You can also do this on Demolition in MW2 and it's much easier in that game. This article is fail because the author hasn't played the game -- he's only seen some random spawn trap video on YouTube.
