A battle is raging between a T-Rex and a Triceratops, and you're quite literally caught in the middle. The safety of a maintenance building lies yards away, but to get there, you have to avoid gnashing teeth and deadly horns. You start running, and a button prompt appears on the screen. Execute it quickly enough and you reach the building unscathed, but where's the fun in that? Fail, and you find yourself skewered on the massive horns of the Triceratops.
BLG writes: "In 1993 Steven Spielberg took Michael Crichton’s novel about a dinosaur theme park and turned it into a cinema masterpiece. And ever since then every developer from Konami to Telltale has tried to make the films into a video game. The developers were so concerned with whether or not they could, they never stopped to consider whether they should. Welcome to every Jurassic Park Game ever made ranked from worst to best."
It's funny I was a big dinosaur fan as a kid but I only ever played JP 1 (NES), JP II (SNES) and JP Rampage Edition (Genesis). I really liked Rampage Edition as you got to play a raptor trying to escape the Island.
I really enjoyed the evolution games. I platinumed both but I never got the dlc. That’s the planet coaster studio if I’m not mistaken. They are awesome, they brought that shit to consoles in a competent way. As a Jurassic park fan and a sim building fan it was a perfect match. Does anyone know if planet zoo if ever coming to consoles?
When I was a kid I saved up and brought the lost world game on PS1 all I ever wanted was to be a Trex let lose on the city like the end of the movie but man that difficulty I never made it past the 2nd level
Jurassic Park Sega CD wasn't even mentioned, so this list isn't "Every". Actually a pretty bad game, but I loved it because I was a JP obsessed kid! XD
official Jurassic World account shared an image on Twitter where we can see a dinosaur behind some leaves. Fans quickly began to speculate that it was a capture from an upcoming video game, as the graphics of the creature are very different from what we can find in the movies.
The team behind Jurassic Life, a Jurassic Park mod for Half-Life 2, has announced that the game is playable from start to finish, and released a new gameplay trailer.
That's pretty amazing. Not just a simple model swap, but a it appears to be a new game
"urassic Park creates and tells a side story to the one in the first film. After Nedry drops the shaving cream can full of embryos and gets himself killed, the company trying to steal the research sends in a mercenary to retrieve it. But, since the park's security has been turned off, park personnel and the mercernary find themselves fighting off the escaped dinosaurs who now roam freely, doing what they please. It seems like a very believable side plot that fits well within the existing story. "
I like it how they fit the story around the movie, good call, This game sounds promising, I could only hope it had more gore but hey, it will have to do.
can't wait for some gameplay, Jurassic Park is still my favourite film of all time
How does it make you want to fail? right who dosent want to be caught in the middle of jurassic park and trying to escape from a T-rex ? anyone ?
I find it a little disapointing.
I'm sure that this was an original script for JP4. The use of Dennis' DNA can. The 'other' company that wants to steal it. It WAS an original idea for the new film.
Now it's a quicktime game. Great...
Very nice. I'm willing to give this a chance. Jurassic Park series is great. Loved all the movies. And I'll always remember the Lost World game back on PS1. Good times indeed.
If this has similar 'controls' as Heavy Rain, then consider me interested.
