Sierra was the king of Point-and-Click adventures during the reign of PC-adventure gaming, releasing such classic series as Police Quest, Space Quest, as well as King’s Quest. These games were part of my gaming rotation in the early 90s, with extensive amounts of time put into each and every one of them.
AGD Interactive has taken it upon themselves to bring one of the King’s Quest games back to life, with an interesting twist. King’s Quest III Redux is not a standard 1:1 remake of the original King’s Quest 3 put out by Sierra OnLive in 1989, but rather, a re-imagination of the original game, breaking canon a bit. This new version features voice over work, and a slight tinkering with the original story, which keeps players on their toes a bit.
Video Game Canon writes:
"Shortlisted as a finalist in 2015, 2016, and 2018, the title was passed over again and again and again. But Minecraft’s creative sandbox become too big to ignore this year, and it has finally been enshrined in the World Video Game Hall of Fame."
"Back in the early '90s, I recall playing plenty of fantastic DOS games between gaming sessions on my NES. So, allow me to describe 5 such games as I remember them from back in the day. Perhaps you've played a few of these as well!" - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums
Chris Penwell from PlayStation LifeStyle writes: Wondering what the best PS4 free-to-play games are? Here are seven of them that stand out and deserve your attention.
Full of win.
Going to download their remakes of the first two games now.
