Console Domination writes: Combining three separate and very popular franchises into one game should work right? Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank and Sly Cooper are three of the best action adventure/platforming series that Sony has to offer. Good gameplay and good story make these the hits that they are and the prospect of a mash up should be cause for celebration. Unfortunately the end result is a a party game played with motion controls, rather than some kind of massive adventure. Something of a disappointment really. On its own merits it's a passable game. The minigames are fairly entertaining, if somewhat repetitive but as a party game it's sorely lacking in the party atmosphere.

Somehow, a friend of mine got a voucher code for the demo, I don't know where. But he gave it to me, so I downloaded it. It was alright I suppose, not bad, not great. Its a bit like a modern day Crash Bash, for those of you that remember Crash Bandicoot. The demo had 5 mini games in it where you controlled the different characters to do different objectives. I'm not sure if the whole game is like that, or if there is an actual story mode. Unfortunately I don't think I will be buying this, at least not right away. I love all three of these icons, but with so many other games this year, its far down on my list.
i played the demo last night and im really let down buy it.
Its for a younger demographic, but its quality, nice to see mlaa being used in a budget title.
Of five minigames only the bowling was a real let down, if this is £24.99 like the other move titles its perfect for a break from LBP for the kids.
They've even got the Dark Daxter feature from the Lost Frontier. At least this game will be a fan-service, which is all I need really... If it was really good, then that would be a plus of course.
