Such amazing shots of this game. Looks so awesome. Lets go Bulletstorm!

"Lets go Bulletstorm!"

Let's not

Model4849d ago

i dont like the dudes hair...looks like i wont be buying it

ThanatosDMC4849d ago

Meh, didnt see what's so great about the game from the demo.

nycrekid4849d ago

I predict this game will be forgotten by April.

TBM4849d ago

Personally from the demo the gameplay would get too old fast. I'll save the money this would cost, and get something else. Probably wait till this hit the bargain bin.

Montrealien4846d ago

I am 3 chapters in, and it is basicly Gear of War mixed with Painkiller, Duke Nukem and Unreal, all set on a beautiful alien world that was once a thriving settlement but now is all in ruins.

now tell me, wtf is wrong with that?

I would love to see Bulletstorm kick Duke's ass, which by recent previews of DNF seems probable!

Seniorscrapper4849d ago

I'd rather pickup DNF seems more promising being a 10 year old game somehow, plus I think CliffyB is getting arrongant with every release.

Active Reload4849d ago

While I'll agree with the Cliff remark, I didn't know Duke was coming out this month...

Iroquois_Pliskin4849d ago

yeah cliffy b is becoming more of a d*ck everyday

shenoyjoseph4849d ago

Really excited to see Anarchy mode, it'll be a competition between me and my friends who gets the highest skillshots!

StillGray4849d ago

I don't know how this will compare to Killzone 3 and Duke Nukem Forever. They're all releasing at the same time.

techrave4849d ago

Killzone 3 is just another glorified PS3 exclusive, doesn't bring anything new in terms of gameplay if I'm not wrong.

Silly gameAr4849d ago (Edited 4849d ago )

Another glorified PS3 exclusive? I guess Bulletstorm is another glorified multi-plat title?

Game looks cool, but what exactly does Bulletstorm bring that hasn't been done before?

At antz1104

If you look at the comment above mine, someone already said that about KZ3. That's why I asked what Bulletstorm brings that set's it apart from other shooters other then "dicktits". Just sayin'

I asked what it brings that's new. KZ3 also looks fast paced and fun.

antz11044849d ago (Edited 4849d ago )

@ Silly

Same could be said about KZ3, just sayin'.

Bulletstorm does look, and feel from the demo, fast-paced and very funny. I like the combo system for taking out enemies. If nothing else its pretty fun.

sashimi4849d ago (Edited 4849d ago )

A good game is a good game regardless if it brings anything new. Also just cause a game brings something new doesn't automatically make it a better game then others, its all about implementation.
Last i checked Epic hasn't brought anything new since UT and this will just be another multiplat among the many others coming out this year.
There aren't many games i get day one and they are usually Ps3 exclusives and jrpgs and then w/e multiplats interest me once price drops.

zootang4849d ago (Edited 4849d ago )

You can't even jump in bulletstorm! How is that for bringing something new?

As for Killzone 3 bringing something new- 3D motion controlled FPS what more could you ask for?

Marquis_de_Sade4849d ago

That's cool for the minority of people who own both Move and a 3D compatible TV, for everyone else, not so much.

Bah, perhaps I'm just bitter that GG have changed everything that made KZ2 one of the best shooters of this generation.

nycrekid4849d ago

Don't buy it and stick to Killzone 2 then. I got the move and 3d and sharpshooter on preorder so I can't wait.

undercovrr4849d ago

Bulletstorm and Killzone are releasing at the same time, but DNF is coming in May, 3 months later, which is enough time to get bored of both games

Duty Calls - Epic Games' Forgotten Call of Duty Parody

Back in 2011, Epic Games and People Can Fly launched a Call of Duty parody - Duty Calls - that has been lost to the annals of history.

closed_account343d ago

"Duty Calls: The Calm Before the Storm" sounds more like a massive case of the sh**s. 😂

I saw the parody mention, and half expected the ability to drop a deuce on your opponent... I left disappointed.

Bulletstorm - A Cult Classic Worthy of Revival?

Bulletstorm will soon receive a VR remake, but is it worth revisiting? Take a look back at the original 2011 release.

IMissJimRyan351d ago

Absolutely. I remember when the game came out on ps360, I thought: "wow, another shooter" and in the 7th gen that wasn't an unfair reaction.

But when the game was re-release on ps4 I took my time an played it (it was on playstation plus at the time) because, ironically, I missed a shooter in that console. And boy, what a fun game! They made a game to be played and not to be watched. It was a fresh air in the genre that deserved better.

So yes. Maybe it find its audience this time.

SullysCigar351d ago

It's an awesome game. The only exception (for my taste) is the script writing, which is OTT, but I guess that's what they were going for. It does at least match the OTT action and gore. I thought it was great overall and actually being in this game is going to be bonkers!

IMissJimRyan350d ago

Yeah, I agree that storywise it's not an Oscar nominee, but it's like a porn movie in game format.

Abnor_Mal350d ago (Edited 350d ago )

Agree with the over the top script, and felt at the time that was the only thing that people were hyped about, the language and not game play.

But in vr this game is going to be great. It has everything that would make a great vr game. Lots of bombastic action, gunplay, blood, and that leash.

Looking at the gameplay now it seems that the game was ahead of it’s time and was perfect for vr before vr wasn’t even off the ground.

Venoxn4g350d ago

I loved the game back in the day and will love in VR even more!

Yui_Suzumiya350d ago (Edited 350d ago )

I got it on PS3 at launch and am still waiting for the long rumored sequel to finally be announced. Currently have it on Switch and wish a physical version of that would be released. Absolutely love it.

FinalFantasyFanatic350d ago

I actually feel like this game gets revived all the time, not that I hate the game, I actually quite like it, it's just constantly available, unfortunately I'm not a fan of VR so I'll be skipping this version.

Bloodborne is a game I still restart and play every few months. I would welcome just a re release in 60fps with a visual upgrade. It's a perfect game. If I was king for a day I would include the randomizer mods because then it would be a kind of rogue like and I could play it forever.

gleepot386d ago

Sure, ill take a sequel to all of these.
