I don't watch too much anime but damn Samurai X kicks so much ass. I remember watching it on Toonami back in the day. This and Yu Yu Hakusho was the bomb back then.

You should watch Samaria x truth and betrayal to see how he became so nasty. I think its one of the best anime ever made but its a lot more gruesome than the toonami tv episodes so don't watch it with your kids.
