It could easily be better on the PS3 than the Xbox 360 if they put the time into it. But since they must make everything equal these days to keep everyone happy, it will probably end up being the most inferior version of all of them, its ridiculous. I was unimpressed with the Xbox 360 demo, it was pretty crappy. I hope the single player is just as good as the first game because thats what i'm looking forward to the most. The multiplayer was just boring and uninspired, although I did like some of the new things they showed in this video, so I hope the finished multiplayer product is better than the demo.

when is a ps3 version ever significantly BETTER than an Xbox version? how about just shutting up and enjoying your version of the game? If it isnt on the PC the consoles version will more or less look the same.

I simply stated some facts that developers don't put enough effort into multiplatform games so they can get the best product on each platform. They try to make them equal, but in the process they fail and often times half ass the PS3 version. Its happening less and less, but it is still happening, and its just lazy. If every developer put enough effort into their games across all platforms, we would have better looking, and better performing games across the board.

It makes no sense to say that they are trying to make both versions equal and that is why the PS3 version ends up worse.

I think Crytek has to have some sort of deal in place with Microsoft. Why else wouldn't they be showing off the PC version instead of the 360 version? There can be now doubt that the PC version will be a graphical showcase, even by PC standards. If you want to show off your Crysis 2 product, you show off the the PC version running on a top spec rig to impress everyone...unless you have some sort of arrangement in place already.

I've seen video footage of Crysis demo gameplay running on the PS3, and it looked really nice. Very sharp and ran quite smoothly. Nice lighting and effects. But for some mysterious reason they won't show footage from the PS3 Crysis 2. That is, they'll show Crysis gameplay running on CryEngine 3 but not the actual upcoming Crysis 2 game. I think there's a deal in place that's preventing that from happening. 360 trailer footage, 360 beta, ect.

...Until now. Despite the 360 demo bias and my love for Killzone, this looks like a really, really great game. It's a good year for gamers eh? Damn devs are making me poor this year!

It has a prestige system so even if you get your level all the way up, most people will just restart their leveling.

i dont understand? why would ppl do that? i mean it takes them 60 hours to level up and when they have leveld up they restart? by going into prestige mod? or am i just missing the point here?.....lol

but still this isnt going to change the fact that the game is going to be unbalanced it would get worse if one is top rankd and the other hasnt got a high ranking score to unlock those abilities.

anyway the game isnt out yet and i hope its all gonna be fair, so i will say no more :)

Its just for fun. If you level up all the way then after a while you will get bored.

Also, you can only have one stealth, one armor, and one power ability at one time so I dont think it will be that unbalanced.

Yeah, this is like RPG now, more time you waste on the game, the "better" player you are. I don't mind weapons and skins unlocks, but when you start unlocking stuff like rate of fire and reload speed... that is taking it all way too far.

They sure are going all out with all the features...but they have to. They are up against some stiff competition. I know they don't like the COD and Halo comparisons but that is exactly what they are doing. Taken a little here and a little there and viola...you have Crysis.

Having played the beta, I hope they figured out some of the issues the beta had but either way, I'm expecting big things from this game.

Those worried about how this game is going to look on 360/ps3...worry no more...here's the hidden map that came on the 1.8 gb beta download on 360...by accident of course...

This entire play area is usable and playable. From the water to the balconies. The detail in this level was outstanding. Skyline was also a great little map as well...

WOW we didn't even get a taste of that in the beta....in killzone 3 beta they sold themselves...idk this game looks good but idk it was way to buggy in the beta and didnt have a unique feel to it really...well hoping for the best...this looks awesome but is the gameplay good???

This game looks awesome even better than that average beta demo. If this game is not good when it finally comes out, I could always trade it in for Brink, another game similiar to this. Brink is more about parkour gameplay, and Crysis 2 is more about superhuman agility and power.

well this video certainly proves that Crysis 2 on the 360 looks better than anything on the PS3 to date.

to say those graphics are incredible on a console is an understatement. the framerate looked silky smooth, the lighting was just brilliant (check out the lighting on the body when it lands in the water and then sinks after the player cops a fist drop!!!!), and the level of destruction and effects going on is just jaw dropping.

gonna be a good month for shooters, bulletstorm, Killzone 3 and then Crysis 2. bad for the hip pocket though lol.
