Homefront's multiplayer will be large scale, with 32 players over Xbox Live and PSN. Morgan Webb visited with Sr. Designer Brian Holinka for an early look at game's warfare types, vehicles, and an explanation of Battle Points and Battle Commander Mode.
Jack writes: "Back in March 2011, the first-person action shooter Homefront arrived on the Xbox 360 from THQ, along with a storm of publicity which included a really cool live-action trailer"
Last week game dev Steve Thornton took to Twitter to ask: fellow devs, have you ever slipped something into a game you're working on that's just for you? The replies are well worth a read.
Deep Silver and Humble Bundle are currently offering the first Homefront game for free. This offer will last for the next 48 hours, so be sure to visit its Humble Bundle page in order to acquire your free copy.
get it! the single player is excellent and intense and the MP is pretty fun, too.
Ehh, PS4 needs these deals too, or consoles in general we always get discounts rarely free stuff that's REALLY free (games with gold / psplus isn't free)
Sounds like the multiplayer is just a mix of BC2 and BO mixed together ~ I personally don't buy it, I'd rather put the money on BF3 where teamwork matters. Plus I'm not into future stuff, I had a hard time eating 2142 (although fun) I just prefer modern things.
Can't wait to see all the console players now yelling at BF3 for having 24 players and this game has 32, Homefront doesn't have jets or destruction ;)
The drones have already been done in Ghost Recon. All these war games look the same, whether they are modern or future.
I dunno looks like to could have a steady following in my opinion if it holds up on the techinical level when it comes to maximum capacity. like if they maintain their side of the game and keep it going smooth for the gamer..
other than that I'm not sure... personally I probably won't get it at launch... possibly when it drops in price. but I would definitely check it out if someone I knew owned it... that's just my opinion.
Day 1 for me. There where epic battles in frontlines fuel of war. The only reason I quit was because the devs kept altering the game types which ruined the gameplay.
