G4TV: Homefront Multiplayer Preview

Homefront's multiplayer will be large scale, with 32 players over Xbox Live and PSN. Morgan Webb visited with Sr. Designer Brian Holinka for an early look at game's warfare types, vehicles, and an explanation of Battle Points and Battle Commander Mode.

Sounds like the multiplayer is just a mix of BC2 and BO mixed together ~ I personally don't buy it, I'd rather put the money on BF3 where teamwork matters. Plus I'm not into future stuff, I had a hard time eating 2142 (although fun) I just prefer modern things.

Can't wait to see all the console players now yelling at BF3 for having 24 players and this game has 32, Homefront doesn't have jets or destruction ;)

Did you play front lines fuel of war? It had jets. And it was made by the creators of homefront. Plus it had 50 players online. I can forgo destruction for games that offer substantial numbers of players in open conflict.

peronally i dont understand the noob obsession with destruction in bad company.

Its pre-rendered and a big billow of smoke covers up the wall dissapearing.

il take BF2 over the Bad company series anyday.

3 people clearly sucked at BF2.

The drones have already been done in Ghost Recon. All these war games look the same, whether they are modern or future.

The drones were weak in ghost recon. And they were not combat drones. Front lines and homefront drones are unmanned combat aireal/ground vehicles. ghost recon only had recon drones. Huge difference.

I dunno looks like to could have a steady following in my opinion if it holds up on the techinical level when it comes to maximum capacity. like if they maintain their side of the game and keep it going smooth for the gamer..

other than that I'm not sure... personally I probably won't get it at launch... possibly when it drops in price. but I would definitely check it out if someone I knew owned it... that's just my opinion.

Day 1 for me. There where epic battles in frontlines fuel of war. The only reason I quit was because the devs kept altering the game types which ruined the gameplay.
