UltimateGameGorilla: Microsoft has annouced Xbox Live House Party 2. Every week for five weeks a new game is realeased on Xbox Live Arcade. Xbox Live House Party 2 will start on Feb.16 with the release of Hard Corps: Uprising. Hard Corps: Uprising is pretty much the succesor to Contra. The other games include Torchlight which was a massive hit on the PC, Beyond Good and Evil HD which was an Xbox classic now with revamped graphics, Bejewelled Blitz Live wich is the sequel in a way to the original Bejewelled and finally Full House Poker which allows you and your avatar to play poker with your friends. I am personally excited for Torchlight since I never picked it up when it was release on the PC and on Mac. RunicGames, the creators of Torchlight are currently working on the sequel, Torchlight 2 for PC and Mac. Hopefully Torchlight will do well on Xbox 360 so that they bring the sequel over to the Xbox 360 also.
Following the official release of the RTX Remix runtime, modders have renewed their efforts to remaster classic PC games like Torchlight.
Online multiplayer is back for 11 more games thanks to Insignia's XBL 1.0 replacement service running on Original Xbox consoles and the Xemu emulator on PC. Multiplayer, voice chat, leaderboards, etc. have been a monthly addition for many games from Xbox's past library thank to the team at Insignia.live! The 11 new games are now playable online once again after 13+ years.

Yawn.... I will say torchlight is fun, but i have that on my steamdeck. Relicta is also on PS+ Extra and looks like it would make a cool VR game. No PSVR support though.

Hmm... that is funny. I see it more as a negative against XB. Like other games on both, some offer a VR mode for PS and this looked like it should be one of them. Then again it doesnt even offer VR for PC so... ehh.

Yeah, be interesting to know. I hardly care because of Game Pass now, still don't mind seeing what we get, but I've come to terms that it's mostly going to be nothing I'll play if have GP.
They should get rid of games w gold. With Gamepass I have too many better games to even think about GWG.
So they've managed to decrease the value you get each month without decreasing revenue by making the games crappier. If they still charged $5/month without giving you ANY games at all, it would open them up to criticism and direct comparisons to PS+ without any way to subjectively spin the message

That's ridiculous the amount of full price day 1 games you get included in game pass - you don't get that for cheap. Nobody is forced to get game pass, if the value is there you subscribe. if there's a drought in games you unsubscribe like i just did a month ago. Will likely get back on game pass this fall/holiday and into 2023 when the games are flooding in.
Yeah. I am going to play Torchlight again with the new revamped controls. I enjoyed the PC version, to it will seem different playing with new controls and sitting on the couch.
