MadOverdose.com writes: With the slew of ports hitting the Playstation 3 recently. We’ve all had our say on which other games we would like to see. I’ve read many suggestions, from Devil May Cry, to Silent Hill and of course, Metal Gear Solid. But why no Fatal Frame?
Today, KOEI TECMO America is pleased to announce that its remastered classic, FATAL FRAME: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, is now available digitally for Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC at via Steam.
Full of frights, spooks, and claustrophobic journeys, the Original Xbox has what will quench the thirst of every horror fan.
Such a shame that they never ported Fatal Frame II: Director's Cut to anything else. The added ending is by far my favourite.
Fatal Frame 1&2. Its a horrible shame those two original xbox games never got backwards compatible for series consoles. Horrible
Fatal Frame, 20 years Later By the early 2000s the modern definition of “survival horror” had been established thanks to the success of games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill.
No need for one since the last Fatal Frame and the next one are both Nintendo exclusives. It doesn't seem like the PS3 will be getting any and they usually on release these trilogies when a game in the series has been released on the PS3, being released soon, or teased (Sly).
correct me if I'm wrong (I probably am) but didn't nintendo acquire the publishing rights for fatal frame or something along the lines which prevents the game to be released on another system?
.
This trilogy is one of the best & scariest survival-horror game I've ever played.
Fatal frame was the only game that really scared me.
I'll never play this game. never.
