This being my first time visiting a gaming HQ I was incredibly excited and upon entering the reception area, I was overwhelmed by the sheer size of the place.
Of course, I had a little go on the PS3 playing some Formula 1 and taking a long look at all the awards Codemasters had acquired over the years (Micro Machines is a classic!) but the real objective of the day was to test out DiRT 3, the next instalment in the popular realistic rally driving series. IGN writes: "Veteran UK developer Codemasters has suffered a round of layoffs following the launch of racing games F1 23 and EA Sports WRC.
Codemasters owner EA confirmed the redundancies in a statement issued to IGN, although failed to disclose the number of staff affected."
