graphics looks ugly!

at least it looks better than Neir.

-Ninja Gaiden 3-is sick!:)

Simon_Brezhnev4845d ago

Yeah Neir was an ugly game but the story was pretty good. Probably had one of the best voice acting cast for a japanese game.

Isn't this the game that even IGN said to not pre-order?

Don't mistake asking a question for blindly following. Last thing I need is to be preached to by a random person on the Internet.

No, I think that was The First Templar.

and who in their right mind listens to anything IGN has to say? Always form your own opinion on things don't blindly follow what people say especially the reviewers/previewers @ IGN.

Neir had a mature (and good) story line, good voice acting, sub-par graphics, some quirky gameplay, overall japanese crazy, and the quite possibly the best soundtrack ever for a video game. At least in the running as the best.

Neir is growing into a cult favorite in some areas. For 15 bucks, its worth a purchase.

So please, don't compare the games just yet.

Sticking with current-gen? Here are six you may have missed

GamesAsylum: "If you’re remaining loyal to your Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 for a while longer yet, you may be looking for something “new” to play. If that’s not the case now, then it may be in the not too distant future – a quick look at April’s release schedule reveals that there’s very little out.

We’ve taken this fleeting chance to round-up six games you may have missed. And if you have played all of these, then you sir have very fine taste"

yea im still using my 360 and didn't buy a nest gen , ive tried some next gen games but none was too wow to make me buy a console (titanfall will be released on 360 and that was the only game that made me want to buy a next gen)
so to the end of 14 the price would be cheaper and the games would be better :D

DeadRabbits3688d ago

Just bought Bully and Manhunt for my PS3! I will keep going back to my PS3 like an French Mistress whenever my urges take hold!

I agree. I played the Bodycount demo and it was the worst FPS I've ever played. I didn't know shooting a gun in iron sights made the screen look as if a earthquake was occuring. LOL. Very disorientating. Duke Nukem Forever and Dungeon Siege III - I love both so I obviously wouldn't put them on the list. The others don't look interesting to begin with so I never gave them anytime.

Tody_ZA4519d ago

Yeah, reactions to Duke Nukem Forever were heavily divided, but in the end the Most Disappointing and Worst Game Awards are very subjective in nature :)

Bodycount was really, really bad, I mean like, everything about it :P Dungeon Siege 3, as we said, wasn't really horrific, we just grew bored of it much too quickly and it just wasn't any fun.

ShaunCameron4519d ago

I actually thought of buying Knights Contract, but when I saw the gameplay having to get the main character back on his feet if he took too many hits and watching how the AI co-op partner could never seem to stay out of harm's way causing a GAME OVER if she dies, I said it wasn't for me.

Tody_ZA4519d ago (Edited 4519d ago )

It was a game where the ideas were great, and the premise and story were really interesting, but everything fell flat as far as gameplay was concerned.

And your partner really seemed to always contradict her desire to live a nice long life, the way she couldn't stay out of harm's way. You can imagine the frustration involved when you're trying to feel bad-ass pulling your broken bones and limbs back together but she's off busy trying to block swords with her boobs \:D?

I wish it had been a CGI movie. It could have been really cool.

ACE: Knight's Contract Review

ACE: It may be difficult to believe, but Knight's Contract is a game so average and that I forgot I was reviewing it.

A good game will spur me on to finish as quickly as possible. A bad game will hold my interest if only to see how bad it gets. Knight's Contract is neither.
