As Russia’s president, Dmitri Medvedev, criticized airport officials for allowing a suicide bomber to enter the Domdedovo airport in Moscow on Monday, a Russian television report suggested that an American video game might also be to blame.
Russia Today, a government-financed satellite channel, broadcast a report that mixed footage of the aftermath of the attack with gory scenes from a video game, “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2,” which allows players to take part in a terrorist attack on a Russian airport.
Here is a look at the first two maps of Season 6 for Multiplayer.
La Casa involves intense action in a Vill and Koro Village is a battle in the streets where enemies lurk at all angles and shadows.
Modern Warfare 3 is set to be one of the biggest COD games yet features-wise, but it shouldn't leave out one of the best MW2 game modes in the rear view mirror.
Some alleged Modern Warfare 2 pay-to-win elements were recently added, see what they are here and how they work.
The DOG is legit Broken if ur hiding in a room or grass he turns his head even if ur behind a closed door he turns his head and barks letting them know where u at thats PAY TO WIN!!!!!
Probably gonna see more of this BS once the deal is fully done..Gotta recoup that 70B.
No way !!! Nobody wouild think they would monetize on items that weak asses will use to get advantage during multiplayer action !!! I would never think they would do that ... I mean is a free to play game after all ! /S
Wait once M$ will put their greasy hands all over Activizion and you will see what awaits the "lucky" ones who will play this slot machine of a game. Sooooo Lame !
... something horrible happens, which is a reaction by rebels to the stuff the Russian government has been doing for many many years...
... yet somehow, videogames are to blame.
Yeah(!)
Even regardless of the fact that the airport in the videogame was fictional (couldn't be used as a blueprint), the type of attack was COMPLETELY different (suicidebomber vs group-shooting), and that these kinds of attacks happen on pretty much a daily/weekly basis in Russia, although usually on much smaller targets (like police-posts and such), the whole notion of mature adults who's job it is to inform their audience spreading this kinda idiotic BS, it just baffles the mind...
It's like blaming the actions of a drunk-driver on GTA. It's just completely ridiculous.
The whole idea of terrorists 'training' for a suicide-bombing through playing videogames, is just beyond idiotic.
It's even more stunning that this is an actual news-item by a 'serious' newsstation. How thick are they, and how thick do they assume their viewers must be to swallow this BS!?
Oh no. I had a feeling they'd get Modern Warfare 2's "No Russian" mission involved.
Well an air port is a hot bed for terrorist activity. Its just bound to happen. Also not because of video games.
So a level in a game that involved killing hundreds through shooting is what caused a bombing that killed around 60 people and injured over 100....
Makes sense.
/s
I didn't actually play it but did the game have a suicide bomber? I thought it was just gun spraying....
