On this week's edition of Friday Night WrestleCast, we share our candid thoughts on the best and worst wrestling video games of all time.
GM Mode is one feature that definitely needs to return to the current WWE wrestling games especially given the brand split between Raw and Smackdown. 2K has plenty of other classic wrestling games to look to for ideas but the question of whether or not they will make changes still remains unanswered.
I really miss GM mode. Smackdown 1 and 2 are my all time favourites though. Probably because of nostalgia of the wrestlers in those games.
Big fan of World Tour and Revenge. Day of Reckoning was also another stellar one as it played a lot like the N64 games and had a great CAW mode. I made some wild creations in that game.
Comparing the face textures of WWE Games character models through the years... featuring John Cena, Booker T, JBL, Undertaker, Hulk Hogan, Mr. McMahon and many more... evolution?
I hope that was the last generation version of 2k15 if it is I'm canceling my pre order.

IMO the worst of the smackdown games. The whole class system, while making sense on paper, just did not work out in gameplay form. It was after 08 that the series started progressively getting better
They need to stop using that same engine.
they look like PS2 shots ... in fact the PS2 shots look better than PS3 shots. Reference IGN or Gamespot for true next gen shots.

I agree 100%... THQ needs to **** can that damn engine!!! What a waste of a next gen system. Only wrestling game I'll be playing this gen is Fire Pro returns. < Hell, if I wanna play a wrestling game wth crap ass, garbage graphics... That's it. Only, it has 10 x's the gameplay.
THQ is a lazy as team. Worst thing WWE could ever have done was sell out to them for videogame rights.
f u guys. thq may not be doin the best with their wrestling games as of late and it could be so much better but like it or not it is the best wrestling game out there and am gonna buy it
