LittleBigPlanet 2 is Full of Idiots | Mad Overdose

MadOverdose.com writes: I can already feel your accusing eyes as you read this post title, and to avoid being called many unpleasant names I should probably start off by stating that LittleBigPlanet 2 has been an amazing game so far. It capitalizes on the original and delivers buckets more content that more than warrants the price tag. But I’ll save the rest for the upcoming review. The amount of times that I’ve been attempting to make difficult jumps and someones just grabbed me and thrown me into some hazard is unreal, or when we all climb a really complicated tower or set piece only to reach the top and have some sackdouche turn around and throw us all off. It drives me fucking insane.

You do know you can play single player right? So why all the complains again? If its not randoms you're reffering to but your friends, then you should choose better who goes on your list, anyway your fault not others.

I now there's plenty of idiots but its always up to you to avoid them or not instead of complain.

No, no, no, let him correct this guy as if he was not quoting the article. That way we know who just showed up to comment at comments and who showed up to discuss the topic.

I think the idea that if a person wants to play the game withput grief they have to play offline is ignorant. Usually people defending this type of behavior are the ones who are guilty of it. My point is we shouldn't have to mess another players expierence up to enjoy the game.

I see lots of people saying it is not the games fault. If you had read the article you would know the author agrees and mentions the fact that this sort of behavior is present in most MP games. He just wonders if you have had the same issue.

Now that I got that out, the redundant comments can continue.

I haven't had many problems with other players so far online in LBP2. I've mostly been playing the story levels but when I do try to play multiplayer, the host either doesn't allow me to join or I get stuck on a loading screen for 5 minutes. I had problems with online in LBP1 when it first came out and it got better over time. I'm sure Media Molecule is working on it.

Wait people are actually complaining? I was laughing at this stuff he wrote and Sackdouche is probably my new favorite word.

The game is made to do that, so how does doing it break the experience? Climb up and do it back? Unless your not skilled enough to do so. Of course doing it 100 times gets annoying at a point, but maybe you should calm down and play something else for a minute? Its not ruining another persons experience, its the friggin game.

Its like complaining about getting shot in Call of Duty. "I dont think people should kill me, its not fun and ruins my experience." Same exact words just change kill with smack.

now.. there is always some time when u start playing online with no friends until u make some thats just annoying..

at first u will find many assholes around.. but be social. make some friends if none of yours plays the game and ull be fine

just dont keep playing the game online on your own without trying to find good people to play it with.. meeting random strangers each time u connect its not the best way to avoid annoying moments

It's that exact same thing that makes LBP and LBP2 great party games, IMHO. There's nothing like the fun to be had with a co-opetive gameplay.

I have a five year old nephew who loves to kill as many people as possible when there's a fire pit. He even ends up killing himself if no one else.

lol....Every game has idiots online, try playing a game of capture the flag in ur standard FPS and u will c fools just running around shooting instead of going for the objective.

So true. I won a MW2 demolition match by my self in less than 50 seconds because the other team was being stupid trying to get kills while not defending my team's target.

Well the problem with LBP aren't the players but the douche player creators. The ones that make bomb survivals, shark survivals, free items level, etc.

They are worse because they overshadow the really GREAT levels and creators :(

I only once played LittleBigPlanet 1 online with people and they were nice people, but I didn't see the point really. The only person who I wanted to play it with lives with me so we could just play together, I spent 95% of the rest of my time on that game making levels.

Well, LittleBigPlanet 2 comes out in the UK tomorrow and my PS3 has died! Oh the timing on that one >.<

i know what this dude means, and its true, i find it funny in the begining but from what i have seen its alot easier to just do 2 players cuz its easier to cooperate, i mostly play with my gf and she does a good job at not doing somethin dumb, my brothers on the other hand.......grrrrrr STOP GRABBIN ME!!!!!

"DONT SMACK ME BRO!" comes to my mind, was playing with two other people and one guy kept smacking the other player over and over until he got on the microphone and said that, the smile on my face could not get any wider then it did, surely enough i ditched before any mass chaos happened
