IGN: Stacking Video Preview

Playing a game where you're a Russian nesting doll might not sound like a blast, but it totally is. Come find out why in developer Double Fine's latest adventure.

This looks amazing, and the graphics look really good for a downloadable title. Day 1 for me since I love Double Fine's games.

Forbidden_Darkness4863d ago

Yeah this does, wish it was getting more hype and love, because i doubt many people here on N4G even know about this title because it's never made it to the first page...

It actually looks like heaps of fun. I'd never heard of the game until now, and as soon as he mention Schafer I was hooked. It's this kind of originality that gives me hope for the gaming industry, more companies need to take a leaf out of Tim's book and take some risks.

I will definitely be checking this game out. :D

tim schafer is getting to much credit for this, Lee Petty is the min behind this game.

What I love about schafer is that his name alone will sell games as crazy and weird as they might seem, which pushes the industry forward.

it actually looks ingenious, definitely one to look forward to.

Brutal Backlog - Stacking

Stacking was released in 2011 by Double Fine and remains one of their oddest and most intriguing titles. It's a puzzle game masking a serious message, but is it worth picking up today? Jump Dash Roll plays with some dolls before giving its opinion in this week's Brutal Backlog review.

Three more fresh faces arrive for Xbox backwards compatibility – Are they worth the return?

Carlos writes "March may not have provided equal delights when compared to that of February’s backward compatible arrivals, especially with great games such as GTA IV, Borderlands 2 and Hitman: Absolution arriving amongst the masses on Xbox One last month, but that doesn’t mean we’re any less content when new additions come to the program.

Today sees a fresh batch of titles join the fray, but with so many to choose from now, are they worth going back to or should they be left on the shelf forever more?"

Stacking was a lovely little game

Cobra9512609d ago

Yes, but it's not there yet for me. Bummer. Was looking forward to reliving that one today.

Pancit_Canton2609d ago

Yes. If you got nothing else to play.

Fist4achin2609d ago

Yawn. I don't get it. Xbox doesn't seem to want to open the purse strings to bring in new IPs and with the selection of bc games, you can't tell me developers wouldn't want to get more.money on old IPs. I'm sorry to say, but Xbox feels like they care less and less for the gamer's...
