Koch Media has announced that it is the UK distributor for two of German publisher bitComposer Games’ upcoming titles. Wildlife Park 3, the latest instalment in the award-winning animal park management simulation series, and Air Conflicts: Secret Wars, an action-packed aerial combat simulation for console and PC, are both set for release during 2011.
Air Conflicts: Secret Wars debuted in 2011, and later updated for modern consoles. However, it's the PlayStation 3 edition that stands out.
"Koch Media GmbH announced that effective today all Koch Media companies worldwide will be renamed PLAION, accompanied by a complete rebranding." - Koch Media GmbH.
I'm guessing it's pronounced "Play On". That's... not a very strong branding. Both the name and logo look like some cheap peripheral maker from the early 2000's. If you're going to go through the trouble of rebranding why would you switch to a worse name than what you had before?
