PALGN: The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout Review

PALGN: "With the popularity of Wii Fit over on Nintendo's console, it was only a matter of time before we saw the Kinect unit utilised in the same way on the Xbox 360. Britxbox: The Biggest Loser: Ultimate Workout Review

Richard Worrall writes: "If you’re reading this, you probably got Kinect for Christmas. Now that Christmas is over, you might also need to shift a few pounds. It looks like Kinect was a good Christmas gift then, considering all the fitness games that are coming out. So we come to The Biggest Loser from THQ: despite launching alongside the Kinect sensor, it is perhaps best visited at this time of year when we could all do with a bit of exercise.

Ultimately, The Biggest Loser offers what is usually a proficient and helpful workout routine at its core. That being said, the difficulties with its associated features and the interface in particular undo much of the good work. As such, it’s difficult to recommend against titles like Your Shape, which lives up to its name through considerate implementation and natural adaptation to the user’s body. The Biggest Loser is far less flexible and, against accomplished competition, it doesn’t really pull its weight."
